After submitting the form, we confirm the price, delivery time and other details within 5 minutes. The order is only confirmed after you receive a call back from our side.
1. How an order works
1.1. Orders are placed through the form on the website kurjersriga.lv.
1.2. After submitting the form, we contact the client within 5 minutes to confirm: shipment type, pickup and delivery address, time and price.
1.3. The order is confirmed only after both parties have agreed on the price and time. Submitting the form alone does not constitute a confirmed order.
1.4. Payment is made by bank transfer or other cashless method after completion of the delivery.
2. What can be delivered
2.1. We accept: documents, parcels, boxes, small goods, flowers, cakes, gifts and similar items that fit in a standard passenger car.
2.2. We do not accept: prohibited items under Latvian law, explosive or flammable materials, live animals, hazardous chemicals, items requiring refrigerated transport.
2.3. Oversized cargo (not fitting in a standard car) is not accepted without prior agreement.
3. Packaging
3.1. Packaging of the shipment is the sender's responsibility. The shipment must be appropriately packed and ready for transport before courier arrival.
3.2. The courier does not pack or repack shipments.
3.3. For fragile items — cakes, flowers, glassware — ensure appropriate protective packaging.
4. Pricing
4.1. Courier service pricing uses the formula: base fare + per-km rate × route distance. Minimum price applies.
4.2. Standard delivery: €6.50 + €0.55/km, minimum €9.90.
4.3. Express (priority) surcharge: +€4.00.
4.4. Additional charges may apply: waiting time, evening/Sunday delivery, large or heavy items, difficult access.

5. Delivery time
5.1. Working hours: daily 9:00–22:00.
5.2. Same-day delivery is available subject to courier availability.
5.3. Exact delivery time is agreed upon order confirmation. Delays caused by traffic, weather or other factors outside our control are possible.
6. Liability
6.1. The courier handles shipments with care. However, we are not responsible for damage resulting from inadequate packaging by the sender.
6.2. We are not responsible for the content of shipments. Clients are responsible for ensuring the legality and safety of items handed to the courier.
6.3. In case of verified loss or damage of a shipment by the courier, liability is limited to the declared value of the shipment, up to the maximum amount specified in the agreement.
6.4. We are not responsible for delays caused by third parties, traffic, weather or force majeure.
7. Recipient unavailability
7.1. The courier contacts the recipient before arrival. If the recipient is unavailable, the courier contacts the sender for further instructions.
7.2. Re-delivery or return of the shipment is charged separately.
8. Cancellation
8.1. Cancellation before courier dispatch is free of charge.
8.2. Cancellation after the courier has departed may incur a partial fee depending on the route already completed.

9.2. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Latvia.
